Quince's Tart(Tarta de membrillos o Pasta Frola)

I had promise today I will post the quince's tart and here is.


This lovely Tarta Mom made every time when I was a child, and my Granmother too (A.Chela) and the recipe that I find is from the recipe's book of my grand ma, you may see is so antique but had so good recipes I think Im lucky of has her recipe's book.



This recipe is known as Pasta Frola too and is fron Argentina. I don't had idea, I know now when my Mom told me, so you have know an Argentina's recipe.







Ingredients
250 grs. Flour
150 grs. cornstarch
1 cup of sugar
100 grs. butter
2 spoonfuls of cold water
1 teaspoonful of vanilla
1 teaspoonful of bicarbonate
2 yolk's egg

Filling
400 grs. of quince's jam
2 spoonfuls of a sweet wine (may be Port)
2 spoonful of water

1 spoonful of liquid Honeyto the lattice.

Method
Mix the flour,cornstarch and bicarbonate in the table, add the butter,sugar join well, add vanilla,water and yolks, make a dough smooth and knead, let rest by 10 minutes.

For while, in a little pot heat the quince's jam, and add the sweet wine or Port and the spoonfuls of water mix well until be thicken how a puree and reserve.

In a mold about 26 cm. greased and podwer with flour , first divide the dough in two parts, one to the bottom of the mold and the other reserve to make the lattice to cover the tarte.
Cover the bottom of the tarte with the puree's quince (jam) and place the lattice over them (see the picture).
Brush the lattice with a mix of honey and water to be golden.
Take to medium heat at oven by 20 minutes.
Let cool and serve.

Tarta de membrillos o Pasta Frola

Bueno, aquì està la tarta de membrillos o Pasta Frola que prometì despuès del Dulce de Membrillo. En Argentina es conocida principalmente como Pasta Frola, yo no tenìa la menor idea y mi mamà me dijo, que era de allà.Ella hace muchos años que la prepara.
Mi abuelita tambièn y es justamente de ella que copiè la receta, pueden ver el cuaderno que es muy antiguo.
Me siento afortunada de tener los cuadernos de mi abuelita, porque ademàs tienen muy buenas recetas.

Ingredientes
250 grs, harina
150 grs. de harina de maiz (maicena)
1 taza de azùcar
100 grs. de mantequilla o margarina
2 cucharadas de agua frìa
1 cucharadita de vainilla
1 cucharadita de bicarbonato
2 yemas de huevo

Relleno
400 grs. de Dulce o mermelada de membrillo
2 cucharadas de vino dulce u Oporto
2 cucharadas de agua
1 cucharada de miel para el enrejado

Mètodo
Mezcle la harina, los polvos de maicena o de maiz, el bicarbonato, el azùcar una bien, agregue la mantequilla, la vainilla y el gua. Haga una masa ni muy dura ni muy blanda, dèjela reposar por 1o minutos a temperatura ambiente.
Por mientras ponga a calenta en una olla pequeña el dulce de membrillo, el vino dulce y el agua, mezcle bien y cuando estè espeso como purè apague.
Engrase y espolvoree con harina un molde de tarta de unos 26 cm., divida la masa en dos partes, coloque al fondo estirada con rodillo una parte, y la otra dèjela pra hacer el enrejado (ver foto).
Vacie sobre la masa el purè o dulce de membrillo y encina coloque el enrejado que se hace cortando tiras.
haga una mezcla con la miel y un poco de agua y pinte el enrejado para que quede dorado en el horno.
Llevar a horno por unos 20 minutos.
Cuando estè listo deje enfriar y sirva.

Pineapple's Cake cream (Tarta de Piña o Ananàs con crema)


The last Sunday was the celebration of Hubby's birthday and this is the Cake I made.
I place here to share with all of you to when you want to make a Cake. Is fresh, easy and all made in home.

Ingredients
8 eggs (separated whites and yolks)
6 spoonfuls of flour
4 spoonfuls of cornstarch (or cornmeal)
4 teaspoon of Baking powder
300 grs., granulated sugar
grated peel lemon (1)
Lemon juice (1)

Pineapple filling:

1 or two can crushed pineapple in juice

1 cup of caster sugar

3/4 Lt. of Double cream or whipped cream

1 teaspoon of Cream tartar

Method

Whipp the whites with a pinch of salt until be firm,and make a syrup with thw granulated sugar and a little water. When is ready add slowly to the whites and continue whipp.

Add the yolks and mix well, add the flour go around with the cornstarch and the baking powder. Add the grated peel of lemon and the juice and mix again.

Preheat the oven.

In a mold cake (about 26 to 28 cm) line bottom with waxed paper. Greased and flour this waxed paper.And place the mix and go to the oven to medium heat. Cook by 45 minutes and later cool in the pan by 15 minutes.

Drain the pineapple and reserve the juice for moist the cake.

Using a knife,loosen the cake layers (3) from the side of the pans and invert the layers to cool completely.

Pineapple filling: Whipp the double cream firm, add the cream of tartar, and the caster sugar.

When is ready moist first the layer with pineapple's juice, and spread cream over it. Place crushed pineapple over the cream Place other cake layer and moist again with the juice and put the cream and the pineapple.

Finally moist the top and spread the cream by the sides and the top of the cake.

Garnish with pineapple and chocolate.

Tarta de piña o ananàs con crema batida

El Domingo pasado fue el cumpleaños de mi marido y le preparè esta torta que no es difìcil, es fresca y agradable.

La coloco aquì para compartirla con ustedes cuando quieran hacer una torta para alguna celebraciòn.Es absolutamente hecha en casa incluido el bizcocho.

Ingredientes

8 huevos (separadas las claras de las yemas)

6 cucharadas de harina

4 cucharadas de harina de maiz o maicena

300 grs. de azùcar granulada

4 cucharaditas de polvos de hornear

ralladura de limòn

Jugo de 1 limòn

Relleno:

1 o 2 botes de piña o ananàs en pedacitos(si es entera se troza)

1 taza de azùcar impalpable

1 cucharadita de cremor tàrtaro

3/4 Lt. de crema para batir

Mètodo

Batir las claras con una pizca de sal, y hacer un almìbar de pelo para agregar. Hacerlo con el azùcar y un poco de agua.

Cuando estè listo y las claras bien firmes agregar el almìbar a las claras batiendo suavemente. Agregar las yemas a la mezcla en forma suave. Agregar la harina alternando con la harina de maiz o maicena y agregar los polvos de hornear.

Precalentar el horno.

Finalmente agregar el jugo de limòn y la ralladura.

Colocar la mezcla en un molde para cake o tarta (26 o 28 cm.)

Coloque abajo un papel engrasado con un poco de harina y vacìe la mezcla.

Llevar a horno por 45 minutos. Dejar enfriar en el molde por 15 minutos.

Con un cuchillo corte con cuidado en tres partes e invierta en un plato grande las capas pàra que se enfrien.

Relleno de piña y crema

Batir la crema firme, agregar el cremor tàrtaro y luego el azùcar.

Cuando estè lista la crema, humedecer con el jugo de piña el bizcocho y colocar una capa de crema y la piña cortada en pedacitos, luego otra capa, humedecer con el jugo y volver a colocar crema y piña hasta que finalmente cubrir toda la tarta con crema.

Adornar con piña y chocolate.

Chicken and rice with tomatoes's sauce(Pollo con arroz y salsa de tomates)




Well this recipe absolutely made byMom, I only translate, she made here to lunch and Marìa Esperanza (my daughter) take the pictures.


I think is so nice recipe, simple and you may have only one dish and is so delicious.



Ingredients

2 cups of normal rice

6 chicken's pieces

1 onion chopped finaly

2 natural tomatoes chopped

70 cc. tomatoes´s sauce

2 garlic`s clover chopped

1/ 2 capsicum in slices

1/ 2 cup of oil unsaborized

salt and pepper


Method : In a sauce pan heat the oil with the chicken's pieces to roast for a while.
Take out the chicken and reserve.
In the same oil fry the chopped onion and garlic cloves.add the tomatoes,capsicum in slices,tomatoes sauce, salt and pepper.
Add the two cups of rice and stir well, add 4 cups of hot water, and now add the chicken pieces.
Cook cover by 20 minutes to slow heat.
Let rest by 5 minutes and serve.
You may heat at night in microwaves.

Arroz con pollo y salsa de tomates

Esta receta la preparò absolutamente mi mamà y Marìa Esperanza le tomò las fotos, yo la traduje y la coloquè en el Blog porque la encuentro sabrosa, buena
y no es difìcil.
Se puede comer como un solo plato principal y queda muy bien.
Se calienta fàcil en el microondas.

Ingredientes

2 tazas de arroz normal
6 presas de pollo ( de cualquier tipo)
1 cebolla picada fina
2 tomates naturales picados
70 cc de salsa de tomate
2 dientes de ajo picados finos
1/2 pimentòn cortado en tiras
1/2 taza de aceite
sal
pimienta



Mètodo :

Se caliente en ona olla el aceite con las presas de pollo para dorarlas por un rato.
Cuando estèn doradas retire las presas y reserve.
En este mismo aceite que està la olla, freir la cebolla picada, el ajo .
Agregar los tomates, el pimiento en tiras, la salsa de tomates, las dos tazas de arroz,sal y pimienta.
Revolver bien.
Agregar 4 tazas de agua caliente para cocer el arroz.
Agregar las presas de pollo.
Poner a cocer tapado a fuego lento por 20 minutos
Cuando estè listo dejar reposar cinco minutos antes de servir.

English Summer pudding!




Many times I want to made this delicious English dessert, and I adapted a David Lebovitz`s recipe that I find (love his recipes) and I may tell you saw a lot. But is nice, simple and yummy.

His link is in my favorites sites and blogs.
You may use freeze berries or natural, I used someones that I had of my South's travel and I had freeze.


So here you have how a little sunshine to the next summer.


Ingredients


4 cups of raspberries


4 cups of blueberries (or other berries of the season you have)


1 cup of sugar


1 loaf firm texture white bread


optional 2 teaspoons kirsch


In a saucepan warm the berries and sugar with one spoonful of water, cook until the berries break down and release their juices. Remove from heat. (Now if you want may add the kirsch)


Remove the crusts from the bread.If the loaf is unsliced, cut into 1/2 inch slices. Line 1 1/2 quart souflee dish or a bowl with plastic wrap. Line ythe sides and bottom with bread, making a layer one slice thick. Trim thebread slices to fit snugly, as neccesary.


Pour half of the berries into the bread-lined pan, ans spread the over the bottom layer of bread to cover the entire surface.


Make another layer of bread slices over the berries, once again trimming as necessary to make a single layer one slice thick.


Add the remaining berries and cover with a final layer of bread.


Place a sheet of plastic wrap on top, cover with a plate with a slinghtly smaller diameter than he dish, and place a heavy object how a tin on the plate to the weigh pudding down.


Refrigerate overnight. The next day, remove the plastic wrap on top. invert the pudding onto a plate, and lift oiff the dish.Remove the rest of the plastic, slice the pudding and serve with whipped cream( or clotted cream). Enjoy!

Budìn de berries Inglés


Mucho tiempo que yo querìa hacer este delicioso postre de berries inglès. Adaptè una receta de David Lebovitz (amo sus recetas) que me encantò porque es fàcil, simple y deliciosa!(En mis favoritos està su link)


Asì que aquì tienenun rayito de sol para esperar el verano.


Se pueden usar berries naturales o congeladas, yo usè unas que traje del sur y las tenìa congeladas. Yo ocupè frambuesas y aràndanos pero pueden ser otros berries tambièn.En la receta el pone 6 tazas de cada uno pero yo encontrè mucho, a mi me quedò bien con 4 y 4.
Ingredientes
4 tazas de aràndanos
4 tazas de frambuesas
1 taza de azùcar
opcional:2 cucharadas de kirsch
1 pan de molde blanco en rebanadas
Mètodo

En una ollita calentar las berries, el azùcar y una cucharada de agua y cocinar hasta que las berries suelten el jugo y no se se hagan purè. Retire del fuego. Si se le va a colocar kirsch este es el momento.

Cortar las orillas del pan y cortar los panes en triàngulos para poder cubrir el molde. Forrar un molde de souflè o un bowl con un film plàstico. Cubrir los lados del molde y el fondo con el pan, cortar los panes si es necesario.
Coloque encima la mitad de la crema de berries y volver a cubrir con los triangulos de pan de molde. Nuevamente distribuir la crema de berries encima de los panes y aplastar un poco.
Cubrir el molde con film plàstico y colocar encima un plato que se un poco màs chico (queda como una tapa) y colocar encima un peso, como un bote de leche condensada o evaporada (yo le puse dos de leche evaporada). Llevar al refrigerador y dejar toda la noche.

Al otro dìa retire el plato y el plàstico y de vuelta el pudding en una plato grande retire el resto del plàstico, se corta el budin en trozos y se sirve con crema batida.Se conserva en el refrigerador hasta servir.

Oven salmon with toasteds almonds (salmon al horno con almendras tostadas)

This recipe of salmon oven and toasted almonds is nice and easy.

The aluminium foil used to cook the fish in the oven helps to reatain the moisture of the flesh.

I used to this freeze salmon but you may use fresh salmon too and is delicious.

I think this is an spanish recipe that I always made in cook class.



Ingredients

1 kg. of fresh or freeze salmon cut in 5 or 6 pieces.

100 grs. toasted chopped almonds

2 spoonfuls of oil unsaborized

1 spoon and half of flour

3 spoonfuls of lemon's juice

salt and pepper

aluminium foil

50 ml. of cold water



METHOD

In a frying pan place the oil and flour and make a mix and add the cold water, stir to make a paste and add the lemon's juice and chopped almond, (reserve someones to garnish), mix well until be thick, add salt and pepper.
If the sauce is too thick you may add more water.

Cut some pieces of aluminium foil to place the pieces of salmon (5 or 6 how you like) and put them inside , add some lemon's juice (place the pieces with foil in a oven large dish) and cover each salmon piece with the almonds sauce and suht the foil to cook how a parcel. Place at the oven to high heat by 15 minutes, later slow and take out the dish, open the poarcels and add the rest of chopped almonds,return to the oven by 8 to 10 minutes, to gratined.
Serve with salads or potatoes how you like, and ice white wine !! Cheers

Salmon al horno con almendras tostadas

Este receta de salmòn me encanta por que se puede hacer con salmon congelado o fresco y como va cocido en alusa foil, guarda todos los jugos y el sabor del pescado.
Yo creo que esta receta es española pero hace tanto que la hago en clases que ya ni me acuerdo de donde la saquè.

Ingredientes1 Kg. salmon congelado o fresco
trozado en 6 porciones
100 grs. de almendras tostadas y picadas
2 cucharadas de aceite sin sabor (pero las de España si quieren le ponen de oliva)
1 cucharada 1/2 de harina
3 cucharadas de zumo de limòn
50 ml de agua frìa
sal pimienta
papel aluminio

Preparaciòn
En una sartèn se une el aceite con la harina hasta formar una pasta (fuego suave), se añade el agua frìa y se une bien, se agregan las almendras (reservando algunas para adornar) y el jugo de limòn y se une todo bien.Cocinar sin para de remover hasta que la crema se espese, sal y pimienta a gusto. Si està muy espesa le pueden agregar un poco màs de agua.

Se coreta el aluminio en trozos para colocar el pescado, se pone un trozo en cada pedazo de papel, se le pone limon y encima unas dos cucharadas de cre,a de almendras, se cierra el papel como un papillote se colocan en una fuente para llevar al horno.
Llevar a horno fuerte por unos 15 minutos.

Despues se baja un poco el calor de la llama, se abren y se le espolvorea el resto de las almendras, se llevan a horno de nuevo (abiertos) para poder gratinar por unos 8 a 10 minutos.

Se sirven en el plato con el mismo papel acompañado de lechugas u otra ensalada o papas. (Se sabe que si se calienta en microondas sin el papel alumino que hace explosiòn) .

Agregar un buen vino blanco helado y salud!!!

Pears with Chocolate's cream (Peras con crema de chocolate)


This is other delicious recipe of my Mom that you know, because I always said when I place a recipe of her, really she teach me to cook many years ago.
Is one of my favorities because is from my childhood. And my childs love it too.
You may garnish how you want, I garnish with chocolate and fresh mint, but you may use other how marraschino or raspberries is nice too.

Ingredients
1/2 pear by person
(3 pears, six portions)
125 grs. chocolate podwer
1/2 teaspoon of liquid vanilla
3 cups of whole milk
100 grs. granulated sugar
3 spoonfuls of corn meal

Note: If you use semi descream milk add 1 spoonful of corn meal.

Method
If the pears are mature only peel them and take out the seeds and place by middle in glases or in dessert's dish. If are a little green, first boiled in water with sugar and cinnamon and boiled by ten minutes.

Chocolate's cream
Place the milk in a pot with the sugar and chocolate, beat and mix well, place to slow heat, and the vanilla and the corn meal dissolved in water or cold milk, mix well again and wait until be thicken how a cream.
To assemble the dessert : Place the pears in the glasses or dishes. Cover with the chocolate's cream and garnish with whipped cream dark chocolate and leaves of fresh mint.

To made the garnish of dark chocolate; Melt some solid chocolate to bain marie or other system, wait cool a little and spread over a plastic or similar, let cool and then cut the pieces of chocolates.

Peras con crema de chocolate


Creo que ya para ustedes no es novedad que este postre sea otra deliciosa receta de mi mamà, de hecho es un postre que nos hacìa siempre cuando eramos niños, bueno todavìa nos encanta y mi hermano se come varios cuando ella lo hace.

Se puede adornar con trozos de chocolate, crema batida y menta fresca o con Cherries o marraschino o tambien frambuesas.

Ingredientes
1/2 pera por persona ( pelada y sin semillas)
(3 peras, 6 porciones)
125 grs. de chocolate en polvo
1/2 cucharadita de vainilla
3 tazas de leche entera
100 grs. de azùcar granulada
3 cucharadas de harina de maìz

Nota: si se usa leche semidescremada agregar una cucharada màs de harina de maiz.

Mètodo
Cuando las peras estàn madura solo se pelan y se les sacan las semillas, pero si estàn un poco verdes, cocerlas en un poco de agua con azùcar y una ramita de canela por un rato (unos 10 minutos.

Crema de chocolate
Ponga la leche en una olla con el azùcar y el chocolate en polvo, revolver y mezclar bien. colocar a fuego lento y agregar la vainilla y la harina de maiz disuelta en agua o leche frìa, revolver bien y esperar que espese como una crema suave.
Para armar el postre coloque 1/2 pera por persona en copas o platos de postre y cubra cada una con la crema de chocolate repartiendo (da para seis personas) y adorne con crema batida, trozos de chocolate y hojas de menta fresca.

Adornos de chocolate;Para formar los trozos de chocolate se puede derretir el chocolate en barra a baño marìa o con otro sistema (hay unas ollitas especiales), se deja entibiar un poco y se esparce en una lámina de plàstico o similar para despues cortar los trozos de chocolate para adornar, tambien se puede adornar con chocolate rallado.

Quesadillas with cheese,beef meat and guacamole(quesadillas con queso y guacamole)


This popular mexican dish make filling with differents things and serve how and appetizer, entrèe or simple lunch.


Now the mexican food is absolutely international, in everywhere you talk about, tacos or fajitas the people know about what we are talking.


In our country ten years ago don't were knowing how now and today you may find tacos in all supermarkets.













Really I prefer Tortillas to made food and differents dishes, are light and easy to handle and will so good with salads and to make to the night or the lunch.










I dont know if in english you said other word for quesadillas, so I put a pictures of the tortillas that normally I use. And you may use the normal or large.




When I use the big tortillas I cut them in triangles so is more easy to eat with guacamole, but the other only have to double when is filling.

Ingredients guacamole

2 or three mashed avocados

2 green onions cut in slices

2 tomatoes peel and chopped

1/3 of cup chopped parsley

1 teaspoon of vinegar

2 spoonfuls of oil (corn or oliva)

salt

pepper




To filling quesadillas

6 or 8 tortillas (normal or large)

1 cup and half of grated cheese or in slices

(gouda, or cheddar)

300 grs. roast beef meat in slices or other

meat in slices

1 onion cut in slices


















































































Guacamole recipe


In a bowl mashed the avocados and add the green onions in slices, the tomatoes and parsley.

Mix well.Season with vinegar and oil salt and pepper.

Refrigerate by a while.

Preheat the oven to medium heat and place the tortillas in the oven tray.

Brush with oil the tortillas and in the center place the cheese, meat and onions.

Season and holder in half, and place in the oven until the cheese is melted and the tortillas look little golden.

Take out and places the quesadillas in dishes or in a wood board and serve with the guacamole. You may serve too with chopped chile or ajì.

You may eat with a fresh white wine (sauvignon or chardonnay) or if you prefer beer.

Este popular plato mexicano puede ser rellenado con diferentes cosas y servirse como un aperitivo, entrada o lunch.





La comida mexicana es absolutamente internacional, cuando uno habla de tacos, todo el mundo sabe de que estamos hablando.





Yo prefiero las tortillas porque son màs manejables, adaptables y van bien con todo tipo de ensaladas.





Si se usan las tortillas grandes se hace como un sandwich y se cortan en triangulos para servir con el guacamole. Las normales como en este caso simplemente se rellenan y se doblan en dos.




Preparar GUACAMOLE


2 o 3 aguacates o paltas molidas como purè.





2 cebollines o cebollas verdes en rodajas finas.





2 tomates pelados y en cubos pequeños.





1 cucharadita de vinagre





2 cucharadas de aceite (Oliva o de maiz o girasol)





Para las quesadillas





Aceite





6 u 8 tortillas grandes o normales





1 y 1/2 taza de queso mantecoso rallado o en lonjas (gouda o cheddar)





300 grs. carne tipo roast beef u otra cortada en lonjas delgadas. (puede ser pollo tambièn)





1 cebolla cortada tipo pluma o en pedazos a lo largo.






Preparaciòn



Para preparar el guacamole en un bowl mezclar los aguacates molidos, cebollines,tomates y perejil, mezclar bien y agregar el vinagre y el aceite, sazonar con sal y pimienta y refrigerar por un rato.





Precalentar el horno a temperatura media. Ponga las tortillas en la bandeja del horno y pince con aceite cada una. Distribuya en el centro de cada una el queso rallado o enlonjas, carne y cebolla, sazonar. Doble cada tortilla en dos y si son grandes tapelas como un sandwhich y despues se cortan en triangulos.





Coloquelas al horno y dore ligeramente hasta que el queso estè derretido.





Servir en una tabla de madera o en platos acompañado del guacamole.Si se quiere se puede servir tambièn con ajì o chile picado.






Se puede servir con vino blanco frìo (chardonnay o saugvignon blanc) o cerveza.

Potatoes's stuffed pudding (Pastel de Papas)


This recipe I made always at home, and is typical from Chile.

The recipe that I will post is stuffed with mashed meat but you may filling with cheese too.My daugther is veggi (sometimes) and when I make this a part I filling with cheese and the rest with the mashed meat .



Ingredients
1Kg. and half of potatoes (peel and boiled)
1/2 cup of warm whole milk
2 eggs
salt

Filling
1/2 kg. mashed beef meat
1 finaly chopped onion
2 spoonfuls of unsaborized oil
salt
pepper
cummin
2 eggs boiled and peel
1 yolk and milk
2 spoonfuls of granulated sugar


Method

Peel the potatoes and boiled with a pinch of salt, how to make puree, when are ready mashed them and add the warm milk and the eggs, mix well and add salt if is necessary.Reserve.
To the filling in a sauce pan place the oil and add the chopped onion, fry a little and when is little golden add the beef meat, salt, pepper and cummin.

In a large Pyrex or similar spread one layer of the puree and over this empty the mashed meat filling, cut in slice the eggs boiled and cover the mix.
Now place other layer of puree over the meat.
Mix a yolk with milk and brush over the puree pudding and podwer with sugar over it.
This make the pudding have a golden colour.
(if you wanted only with cheese make the same one cape of puree, cheese in slices and cover with the puree again.)

Take to the oven by 20 minutes until be golden. We serve this with tomatoes salad or other salad.

Pastel de Patatas o de Papas

Esta receta la hago siempre en la casa y es tìpica de nuestro pais, Pastel de patatas o papas , a todos les gusta eso es lo bueno.

La receta que les estoy dando es con carne molida o picada pero tambièn se puede rellenar con queso en làminas. Mi hija es vegetariana (la mayor parte del tiempo) asì que cuando hago este plato una parte la relleno con carne y la otra con queso y como dicen mis amigas españolas, todos felices.

Ingredientes

1 Kig. y medio de patatas ( peladas y cocidas)

1/2 taza de leche entera tibia

2 huevos

sal

Relleno

1/2 kg. de carne molida o picada

1 cebolla picada fina

2 cucharadas de aceite sin sabor ( puede ser aceite de oliva en este caso)

sal,pimienta y comino

2 huevos hervidos

1 yema, leche y 2 cucharadas de azùcar para dorar

Mètodo

Pelar y hervir las papas como para hacer un purè, cuando estàn listas, molerlas, agregarle los 1/2 taza de leche tibia y los huevos uno a uno, mezclar bien y reservar.

Para el relleno, calentar en un sartèn el aceite, agregar la cebolla picada, cuando estè dora agregar la carne molida, la sal, pimienta y comino a gusto.

En una Pyrex grande cuadrangular poner primero una capa de pure y luego la mezcla de carne, encima los huevos duros cortados en lonjas y luego otra capa de purè. Batir una yema con un poco de leche y pinte el pudding o pastel y espolvoree encima con el azùcar granulada.

Esto harà que el pastel quede màs dorado. Llevar a horno por 20 minutos màs o menos, hasta que estè dorado.

Generalmente lo servimos con tomates en rodajas u otras ensaladas.

Es una comida sencilla pero rica y saca de apuro.

Si no se quiere con carne, simplemente se le coloca queso en tajadas entre las dos capas de purè.
